THE LISTENING ROOM

The Listening Room is a creative open mic that runs once a month, on the second Wednesday, from 7:30pm. It is for anyone who wants to share their work with live sound, from musicians to comics, and, of course, poets.

We are based in the cafe within Leigh Community Centre, formerly Lorna & Lottie's Cafe now Cup of Leigh.

The Listening Room runs on primarily an open mic basis - just turn up on the night, write your name down, and you're in! We also have a feature set most months, which is a longer slot (up to 25 minutes) for someone to dig deeper into sharing their work.
